Women Rock the Future

A hike empowering women and girls

Women Rock the Future is a community hike designed to raise funds and awareness for programs supporting women and girls in New Haven and León, Nicaragua. The event will celebrate empowerment, health, friendship, and gender equality while bringing together families, community members, and partner organizations.

Hike Details:

A walk/hike in East Rock Park on well used trails and roads on Saturday, September 26th, starting at 11am.

Start: East Rock Park by Livingston and Cold Spring Streets.

​

End: Edgerton Park (Whitney Ave and Cliff Street) where CT Folk Festival will be kicking off at noon.

​

Route: To top of East Rock via East Rock Drive; descend via Farnum Drive.
