• The 2004 Water Delegation Report.       As part of our marking the 20th anniversary of the New Haven/León Sister City Project members of the New Haven staff and Board and some spouses traveled to Nicaragua. Our focus was the important issue of water. Nicaragua is at a critical juncture. Will this essential resource be considered a social good and, therefore, available to all at affordable prices or will it become a commodity subject to the market forces with the real danger of becoming unavailable to the poorest.

Sostenica is a micro-credit organization, operating in partnership with Nicaraguan lenders and entrepreneurs, whose president is one of the original founders of the NH/LSCP. 

ViviendasLeón

ViviendasLeón is an international NGO based in San Francisco that brings educational student construction delegations to León.  VL started as an NH/LSCP project, and became independent in 2003.  

Nicaragua Network

NicaNet is a network of US-Nicaragua solidarity organization, and produces a news hotline for solidarity-related issues.
